Vacancy: Football Development Officer Clubs
Position: County Football Development Officer (Clubs)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Responsible to: Senior Football Development Officer
Supported by: County Development Manager
Salary: £22,000 per annum
Contract to: 30 June 2015 (extension subject to funding review)

The position reports directly to the Senior Football Development Officer.
The role encompasses the following areas:
- Growth and retention – increasing and sustaining player participation within Cheshire.
- Raising standards – creating a safe and positive environment for all involved in the game through a high quality club and league network, along with delivery of the Charter Standard programme.
- Better players – Support the player pathway and implement a Coach and Volunteer Education programme to improve coaching and volunteer workforce within the clubs.
- Running the game effectively - Support the development of the County Plan.
To apply you need to be of graduate calibre and have experience in sports development and an understanding of The FA‟s National Game Strategy.
You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level. You must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate both team working and the ability to work unsupervised. Candidates should also have excellent interpersonal/ communication / presentation skills.
