They're Back! Adult Futsal Leagues Return
The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is delighted to announce the return of the male and female Futsal Fives Leagues.
The Men’s Futsal Fives League gets started on Tuesday 9th August, whilst the Women’s Futsal Fives League starts on Monday 5th September.
Fixtures are held at Brockington College, with women’s games taking place on Mondays and male games played on Tuesdays.
Both leagues are currently recruiting teams – so if you’re interested in getting involved this season, download and complete the registration form, available at the foot of this page.
This year, both leagues are providing an opportunity for players new to Futsal to give the game a go, prior to league fixtures getting started.
In the two weeks leading up to the start of the league campaign, teams will play a round robin series of games to whet people’s appetites, give people some extra game time – or to provide an introduction to the fast-paced fun of Futsal.
Warm-up fixtures will take place on the following dates at Brockington College:
Women’s – Monday 8th August and Monday 22nd August
Men’s – Tuesday 19th July and Tuesday 26th July
The cost to play fixtures each week will be £20 per-team – with the same rate applying to round robin tournament games ahead of the league starting.
