Raise Your Game National conference moves forward to new date
Kick It Out’s Raise Your Game National conference has been scheduled for Monday 16 April at Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal FC.
The FREE mentoring event, supported by the Premier League, will see hundreds of individuals aspiring for a career in the football industry provided with the opportunity to gain insight and knowledge from professionals across several aspects of the game.
The conference will be co-hosted by TRT World presenter Samantha Johnson and Soccer Saturday reporter Bianca Westwood.
The conference offers attendees one-to-one mentoring which offers a detailed insight from those currently working within the football industry, and an opportunity to discuss the journeys they have taken to get where they are today. Mentees will also have a chance to take part in a variety of careers-focused workshops.
Mentoring areas will include Media and Communications, Grassroots and Community, Coaching and Management, Football Business and Administration, Player Services, Sport Science and Refereeing.
Further announcements about mentors and special guests for the event will be revealed in due course.
The conference forms part of Kick It Out’s Raise Your Game series, which offers opportunities to network within the football industry and aims to diversify the game’s workforce.
The #RYG18 National conference will be the fourth hosted in the Woolwich Suite at the Emirates. In previous years, key note speakers at the event have included Ivan Gazidis, Chief Executive of Arsenal, Greg Clarke, Chairman of The Football Association and Leanne Sanderson, England Women’s forward.
