A fantastic opportunity has been created to support recreational football across Leicestershire and Rutland; a County that boasts vibrancy, cultural diversity and a rich footballing heritage.
Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is seeking to recruit an Assistant Football Development Officer with responsibility for maintenance and growth of the recreational football programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing parts of the County FA’s strategic plan in partnership with key stakeholders such as clubs, schools, colleges, universities, private providers, Leicester City Community Trust, local authorities and Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport.
The successful applicant will have experience in sport development and be committed to supporting grassroots clubs. The dynamic and innovative individual will be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Applicants will be required to be highly competent using Microsoft applications, with the ability to adapt to new computer systems.
The post is based at the Leicestershire & Rutland County Football Association Headquarters at Holmes Park, Whetstone, Leicester, working 22.5 hours per week. Frequent evening work may be required, which could include Saturday and/or Sunday hours.
