A Joint Statement for Youth Football in Leicestershire & Rutland

Following The FA statement released yesterday, the Leicester District Mutual League, Leicestershire Foxes Sunday League, Leicester & District Sunday Juniors League, Leicestershire Youth League, Leicester City & County Girls League and Leicestershire Youth Futsal League in consultation with the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA, have taken the decision to conclude the league season for 2019-20 meaning all remaining fixtures have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

This means all competitions in the above leagues, including league and cup, have been brought to an immediate end with results expunged meaning there will be no winners across any of these competitions this season with no trophies or medals awarded.

Further to this announcement we can confirm as league committees we have agreed to provide a 50% reduction in League entry fees for 2020/21 for all teams and have made the decision to extend the league team entry application to 31^st May 2020.

In what is an unprecedented situation we would collectively like to thank all clubs for your understanding as to the decision made.
