It was a pleasure for the LRCFA to go and support Coalville Town FC as they held an internal training session for their grassroots coaches on 'How to engage with Disabled Players'.

Around 30 coaches from their junior teams attended the event to learn about different disabilities, how they affect playing opportunities and what the coaches can do to include disabled footballers within the club and within mainstream teams as well.

These small changes have a big impact on the culture of a club and make inclusion an everyday consideration through the club.

Big well done to Shaun Culpin and Natalie from Coalville's Inclusive Team for putting the workshop together to help bridge that transition between mainstream and disability football.
