Joel Moore Appointed As Youth Director At LRCFA
Leicestershire & Rutland County FA (LRCFA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Joel Moore as Youth Director and Chair of the Young Leaders Programme.
Joel has taken on this role with a commitment to embedding the voice of young people in the decision-making process at board level.
Currently a final-year student at Loughborough University, where he studies Sport Science, Coaching, and Physical Education, Joel brings a wealth of leadership experience to the position. He is also the Chair of the Intra-mural Sport Programme at Loughborough, where he leads a team of student volunteers in delivering competitive sports for the campus halls. In addition, he has played a significant role in the Loughborough Sport Senate, serving as Vice Chair, where he helped shape the future of sport on campus.
Beyond his work at university, Joel has contributed his expertise to the national stage, having served on the FA National Youth Council. He also collaborates with the Youth Sport Trust (YST), where he has been actively involved in creating and promoting a youth voice strategy to ensure that young people have an influential role within the charity. As a member of YST’s Youth Board, Joel continues to advocate for young voices in sport.
Throughout his time at Loughborough, Joel has worked extensively with the university’s football programme, coordinating operations and organising campus-based football activities. His passion for the sport and dedication to youth representation make him an exciting addition to the LRCFA Board, where he will bring fresh insights and champion the perspectives of young people.
“I am thrilled to join the LRCFA Board in this role,” Joel said. “I look forward to raising the voices of young people across Leicestershire and Rutland and working with the Board to ensure that youth perspectives play a key role in shaping the future of local football.”
Joe Dunmore, CEO of Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, commented: “We are excited to welcome Joel to the Board.
"His extensive experience and passion for youth engagement will be invaluable as we continue to strive for a more inclusive and representative football community. We believe that empowering young leaders is crucial for the future of football in our region, and Joel's contributions will help us achieve this goal.”
Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is confident that Joel’s leadership and commitment to youth engagement will greatly benefit both the organisation and the local football community.
