Through the Football Foundation’s Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund, an impressive £2.6 million has been invested to enhance grass pitches across Leicestershire & Rutland.
This funding has directly led to the improvement of over 270 pitches, supporting the development of local communities. Now, it’s your turn to be part of this exciting journey to elevate the quality of your own grass pitches!
Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is inviting local clubs, pitch providers, parish councils, and schools to a FREE information evening at the Leicester City Training Ground in Seagrave on Thursday, 24th October, at 6:30 pm.
We'll be covering:
During the session, you’ll learn how to apply for up to £3,200 per pitch, per year through the Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund.
As part of the event, experts from the Leicester City Sports Turf Academy will be on hand to explain how they can support you, making the application process as simple and stress-free as possible. And who knows—you might even be treated to a tour of the training ground!
