LRCFA Appoints Chris Hodson as Referee Development Lead
Following an open and transparent recruitment process, we are delighted to announce that Chris Hodson has been appointed as our new Referee Development Lead.
Chris will continue in his current role as Referee Development Officer until he officially begins his new position on 1 October 2024.
In his new role, Chris will oversee the referee development strategy and will line-manage the Full-Time Referee Development Officer. He will focus on implementing strategies and operational tactics to support the retention and progression of referees within the pathway.
Chris shared his enthusiasm for the role. He said: “I am honoured to take on this new challenge and continue my work in supporting and developing referees.
“I look forward to building on the progress we have made and ensuring that our referees receive the best possible support and opportunities for growth.”
Over the past 12 months, Chris has made significant contributions in his previous roles as both Referee Support Coordinator and, more recently, as the full-time Referee Development Officer.
He exemplifies the values and work ethic required for this role, and we are excited to support him in achieving continued success.
