Nominate A Volunteer For A Grassroots Football Award Today
YOUR THANKS MEANS THE WORLD
It’s time for everyone across Leicestershire & Rutland to say thanks for everything volunteers do to make football happen.
We’re asking you to nominate the volunteers, coaches, clubs, leagues, officials and anyone else you think deserves a Grassroots Football Award. It’s quick and easy to nominate and, to our amazing volunteers, your thanks will mean the world.
There are twelve different categories for you to nominate into.
- Match Official of the Year
- The Lioness Award
- Positive Behaviour Award
- Coach of the Year Female Pathway
- Coach of the Year Disability Pathway
- Coach of the Year Male Pathway
- League of the Year
- New Volunteer of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Grounds Team of the Year
- Club of the Year
- The Bobby Moore Award
How to nominate
This year, it’s easier than ever. You can now tell their story in a way you want simply by letting us know:
- What do they do and who do they do it for?
- What difference have they made to other’s lives?
- What makes them stand out so much for you to nominate them?
- How are they making football better for more people?
- Have they done something that might be picked up by the media?
As well as using the nomination form, nominators can upload a video to YouTube, Vimeo or similar platform and add the link to the nomination form. There’s also a box to add a description of the video.
The more detail you give, the better. So let’s find the people who make football great in Leicestershire and Rutland and they can win a National Award and have the chance to be celebrated at Wembley.
Don’t miss out on the power of a thank you. Nominations are live from 28th February – midnight on 6th April.
