Disability football ambassadors

Leicestershire & Rutland County FA are delighted to have a Disability Football Ambassador. Shaun Culpin, having developed disability football at Coalville Town, providing opportunities for 45+ players, can support clubs through the introduction of the new ‘Disability Club Training’ programme, which is designed to upskill club volunteers to be motivated, knowledgeable, confident and capable to develop more club-based opportunities for disabled people to play, coach and/or volunteer.

As Disability Football Ambassador, I can help your club give opportunities to people with disabilities to become more inclusive and offer the opportunity for more people to play the beautiful game. I can provide support on how to create a team, building the right ethos and help work towards playing in the local PAN-Disability Football Leagues. Everyone should have the opportunity to play football.
