The Leicestershire & Rutland County FA delivered a successful Club Officials Induction Workshop for over 40 attendees on Monday 9th July.

The evening provided an overview of essential tasks and processes required to help run, and then develop clubs. In addition, the evening included an introduction in using online FA systems, along with an overview of essential governance processes clubs need to be aware of.

Although targeted at relatively newly appointed club officials, the evening was open to all those that required a re-fresh or wanted to develop their understanding of the basic processes required in running a club.

Shaun Waite, Football Development Officer (Participation) said, “We firstly thank all those volunteers that attended and have stepped up to help run their clubs. We welcome them to the grassroots game in Leicestershire & Rutland. 

We appreciate running a club can at times be a daunting and challenging  task, but hope this workshop provided a solid foundation and understanding, which will help volunteers to run and develop their clubs”
